US Rep. Dennis Kucinich, the former Democratic presidential contender, said Monday that he wants the House to consider a resolution to impeach President Bush.
Kucinich, D-Ohio, read his proposed impeachment language in a 290-minute-long floor speech. He contended Bush deceived the nation and violated his oath of office in leading the country into the Iraq war.

Giving them something to unite around isn't exactly in anyone's best interest right now.

Totally with you on this one. Same type of thing happened in 2004 with gay marriage. Well that and Kerry was too weak to deal with his swiftboating.
Liberals are the best at shooting themselves in the foot...but I suppose that's better than the face.
And now all the uber-liberals will support 3rd party candidates resulting in 4 years of McCain's rich, old, white man policies. Honestly, if Nader et al. wanted to make a difference they would realize that one should start from the bottom, not the top. I'm all for 3rd parties, especially when they're radical liberals, but all they're doing is padding their ego by running for president. Run for congress or something you idiots.
This is clearly going nowhere. But at least down the road/when historians look back, there will be clear evidence that someone said something and stood up for what's right. It's not like he's doing it in October.
